Greetings All - It certainly does not feel or look like spring around here this week and I heard there is another possibility for some 'white stuff' on Saturday. My daffodils will be so distraught over this...or maybe it is just me that is upset about it and ready for spring and sunshine! However, it seems like spring in the shop with the events that are coming up!

FRAMING SALE - Starting this Thursday and running thru next Saturday, April 14 we are offering a 20% discount on the frames for any pieces you bring in for custom framing. Bring as many as you like, all of your frames will be discounted (excludes frames from Valley House Primitives).

 

If you have pieces that are in progress but you are not ready for a custom frame, bring those with you and perhaps some of the frames on our wall will fit the bill! These are frames that were sent to us in the incorrect size or finish and they are looking for a good home so we are offering any of those that are over 8x8 for half price!

 

SULKY THREADS - The Sulky Cotton Petites is a new thread for us that we have carried before in sets from a few designers. We now have the full line and they are wonderful to stitch with. It is used as it comes off the 50 yard spool, equivalent to 2 strands of DMC floss. But there is no separating of threads and putting them back together - you take it off the spool, thread up and go! We have a free spring graph from Elizabeth Designs kitted with the threads for you to try and the Country Cottage 'Spring Birds' is a coming model that was stitched with the Sulky. There are 160 colors in solids and blended colors and we will help you convert the colors in your chart if you want to give it a try. It is a wonderful thread for quilting, applique and button hole too!
